Carter joined Banner Oak Capital Partners in 2021 as a Senior Investment Analyst. He is heavily involved in the underwriting, acquisition, and asset management of multiple real estate product types including multifamily, industrial, and senior housing, as well as entity level investments for new business opportunities. He creates financial models, prepares and presents investment analyses, assists with investor reporting, and compiles sector and market specific research.

Prior to joining Banner Oak, Carter spent three years in the Real Estate Banking group at J.P. Morgan, where he worked with real estate developers and private equity funds to provide asset-level financing – including commercial and multifamily construction loans, subscription facilities, and term-mortgage lending – for all asset classes throughout the country.

Carter is an active member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) Young Guns. He graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2018, receiving a BBA in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate.
