Geoffrey Osborn was a founding principal and president of Banner Oak Capital Partners. Geoff’s passing is an enormous loss to us personally and professionally as he had an indelible impact on each of us.
Geoff’s illustrious career touched many in the legal and commercial real estate communities. He was instrumental in building Banner Oak into a dynamic investment management firm in a few short years since its inception in 2016. His intellect, wit, and impeccable core values will be greatly missed by all who worked with him. Prior to forming Banner Oak, Geoff spent 16 years in various legal and executive roles at Hunt Realty Investments in Dallas as well as 15 years at Thompson & Knight LLP where he was a Partner in the commercial real estate practice. Geoff graduated from the University of Texas law school in 1985.

Osborn Memorial Endowment for Excellence Scholarship in Law to provide scholarships for University of Texas law school students with an interest in real estate law. Geoff’s love for the University of Texas ran deep, and he greatly valued supporting and mentoring the next generation.
