James joined Banner Oak Capital Partners in 2016 after eight years at Hunt Realty Investments. While at Hunt, James was involved in the structuring of multiple investment funds, the underwriting, formation, and management of operating partnerships, property acquisitions, asset management and investor reporting. As a senior vice president at Banner Oak, he is responsible for the firm’s portfolio management and reporting for each of the firm's investment funds.  James is actively involved with the management of Banner Oak's various operating platform investments and its core fund, as well as the underwriting and formation of new business opportunities.

James is an active member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and a 2016 graduate of the ALC program. He holds a BS in agricultural economics and a Master of Real Estate from Texas A&M University.
