As controller of Banner Oak, Valerie is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting and reporting process, as well as preparing financial statements and audit reports. Valerie also interfaces with subsidiary accounting groups, reports to investors, and coordinates accounting policies and procedures across investment venture platforms.

Valerie began her career in 1998 at Hunt Consolidated Inc. Her accounting and reporting roles transitioned between agribusiness, power and energy, and real estate. Valerie spent the last 10 years at Hunt Consolidated in the real estate division focusing on real estate fund accounting and reporting, including the oversight of eight annual audit reports. She was also instrumental in implementing several new accounting software systems during her tenure at Hunt. Valerie graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in economics and accounting.
