Scott has over 16 years of experience as an attorney working and representing clients in the real estate industry. Scott serves as general counsel and chief compliance officer for Banner Oak. Previously, he served as vice president and assistant general counsel for Hunt Realty Investments. Before that, he was an associate attorney with Thompson & Knight in the firm’s real estate and banking section.

Scott is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Corporate Counsel sections of the State Bar of Texas. He is also a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Real Property and Corporate Counsel sections of the Dallas Bar Association. Scott earned his JD and BA degrees from Texas Tech University.
